Interesting read. I am currently in Thailand and passed through Malaysia on the way.

There are demonstrations being held there with a lot of bad press about Lynas. Plus I have seen many Asian television news broadcasts here condeming Lynus and Australia.

I don't think we should be complacent about this all being ok. People DO have power when they unite and the protestors have some very educated people amongst them. Their numbers are increasing daily.

I hope for all of our sakes it does work out but do not under estimate the seriousness of this situation.
