It's all retail, and I am not sure it is just about shorting- it's sentiment. Here's an article from AFR Street Talk (you can access if a member, or it will be in tomorrow's paper copy). It says most of the big retails are at one year lows, GFC lows, or all-time lows (Myer):

Retail is a hard space right now. Deutsche Bank, from the article, says retails might be a buy right now, because they are so low in share price.
