Siameseparrot, how can you compare the chart of a producing oiler with the chart of a non producing oiler?
WPL's fortunes are firmly hinged to the oil price and to a lesser extent their exploration success. HDR's fortunes are firmly hinged to exploration success (and time to production) and to a lesser extent the oil price.
HDR havent been exploring for several months which has caused them to trade in a wide band but the oil price has been heading north which has created WPL's share price growth.
As HDR's production approaches they will be valued as a producer (and their value more directly related to the oil price) and if the bottom doesnt fall out of the oil price we will see $5 at the end of the year.
