re: **macrae** smooth-talking andrew forrest - shi the news is that the chinese are trying to pull out of the deal to build the railways etc for the project, and without them the stock is worth what is was before they came onboard ..... 80c - $1... which is what twiggy placed stock to them at in November last year.
Whether the Chinese have to comply or not, just look at "HLI"...which invested money into a Chinese education project to find that there were hidden debts etc...
Who cares what the contracts say, try getting the Chinese to co-operate and enforce law in their country...
Take the HLI example..stock has been suspended for months now, with no resolution....all the shareholders have been burnt...
If the Chiense do come to the party they will be dragging their feet and delaying the project...
Hope it doesn't happen, but the stock is headed towards sub $2 for my thoughts.
