JMG and Scanpeak,
Have enjoyed your debate but a couple of points to add:-
(1) CDU will not be producing copper metal but copper concentrate. Therefore the revenue received will be the gross value of the contained metal less treatment and refining carges.
(2) The buyer will not be allowed to purchase the concentrates at a discount otherwise the ATO will intervene as transfer pricing is not allowed. The buyer will benefit from the assurance of stable supply of a high grade concentrate and dividends from his investment in CDU shares.
