As a child (10), given an Omega Seamaster by my uncle.
For almost 50 years it's served me well!
The beauty of time pieces, is that they have a heart & an hearbeat!
Each piece, "sings" its own "song". It's signature "heart-beat"!
Placing the piece to the ear, the "heart-beat" draws you in. You "enter" another world.
Electronic watches are ruthlessly efficient, and heartlessly boring!
I use them only when travelling!
