My brother is very much into this predicted crash and he reckons one thing that is going to collapse the whole economic system is the "ghost" money that exists out there.
Basically banks used to be places where you put your gold for a fee and in return they would give you a note(money) for proof of ownership.
Of course eventually these notes changed hands in society for goods and services.
Then the banks got smarter and started lending people notes that equated to the banks own gold reserves and in return they got "interest"
Then the banks got even smarter they started lending money that didn't reflect anything real(ie gold),they basically created money from nothing.
This has continued to this day and basically the whole economic worth on paper does not reflect this in real terms and eventually is going to crash the whole system.
I would be interested to hear your views on this and please feel free not to agree or correct something,I am still trying to understand how the whole system works myself!
I think the good days a coming to a end and we are going to head into a very new world not just from this but also from the pending energy crisis
