GDN management have a history of doing small capital raisings to Sophisticated Investors at well below market price and then the Sophisticated Investors then immediately dump them on the market for a profit.
The suckers are the ones that buy the shares that the sophisticates dumped.
In the latest raising the sophisticates bought at 1 cent and (I strongly suspect) dumped at around 1.2 cents.
This was a particularly cloudy CR given that it was pre-consolidation. The current share price is 1.6 cents, but actually it is 0.8 cents given we are now post consolidations.
So those that bought the dumped shares at 1.2 cents have lost 33% of what they paid already.
Another shady chapter is the history of GDN.
