Cold,wet and windy.It was one of those sort of days where staying in bed was a good option.But duty calls.After doing his daily morning editorial,our gallant editor set off for his daily bike ride.After braving the elements our hero was off and peddling.Uphill,slowly at first,the bike soon approached the summit.Once over, the bike soon gathered speed and with it our mighty hero was now flying along at great speed.
Approaching the bend,it wasn't long before the bike came to a skidding stop.Twisted and tangled was the bike and rider.Disaster! Absolute disaster. No words could describe the situation and the state of our rider,least not whay could be said on these threads.
Nursing a broken arm,it wasn't long before word had got out and all the readers were in shock."Who'll do the news,now" they said,"who,indeed"
Well fortunately,there was no shortage of talent in the newsroom and it wasn't long before barnsty and Tweets came to the rescue.True heroes, and in the call of duty,soon had the daily threads running like clockwork.
