the us needs a huge military force.

The US needs a huge military force to defend itself from all its enemies.

I always figured it was easier to just not have enemies.

I don't see NZ or Switzerland needing huge armies as they have no enemies.

Why oh why do they interfere in others affairs and then wonder why people hate them. They try to rationlise it is a fight against freedom or Christianity.

For some reson they can only ever see short term action as prudent and NEVER see the long term consequences.

Sadly we seem to be heading the same way.
