I doubt you have ever done a day's hard work on a farm.
Cattlemen are not ogres or monsters but ordinary people trying to earn a living through many years of drought,flood and low prices.
As a cattle producer I am disgusted by this footage but we must ask what the Australian authorities and exporters have been doing in monitoring these facilities.
It will probably warm the cockles of your heart to know that Indonesia intends to become totally sufficient in beef in a very short timeframe.They will then slaughter them as they please. I doubt that they care what we think.

Meat is an important part of a balanced diet.Cattle for local consumption are all dealt with in a very humane way.
By the way do you eat chicken (have you seen a modern boiler farm?) or are you busy depleting the world's oceans of fish?
PS AACo are building a very modern abbatoir in Darwin.Lo and behold not all cattle producers are cruel and useless.
