Yes Japan's invasion of Manchuria and its brutality can only be condemned.
Japan was a rapidly developing nation with little access to resources.
It was resouces rather than land for population that was its reason.
It was Japans experience and perceptions that the west was reticent in allowing it what it needed in that regard.
Of course the west writes history as do the victors.
There are no black and whites in the affairs of men and its always easy to condemn the actions of other nations.
I suppose the invasion of Iraq for oil as Greenspan stated so clearly is a lot different than Japans invasion of Manchuria for resources. Really!
NO, neither is or was acceptable.
