    Moorookamick...
Reading all your posts on GXY...you seem to have definitively made your own mind up...so why ask me?

    Your post on : 25/05/11 12:57 stated....
"...Lack of clear info to fundamentally value the 3 tiers of business, IE: Mine, Carbonate Factory, Battery Factory..." which followed onto
"...GXY's current position makes it vulnerable to a buy out because:-
    (a) Cash ........= ........185 mil
    (b) No of Shares =.........323 mil
    (c) Cash per share= .......$0.57
This values business (ex cash)@.....$0.32 per share.
    which is riduculously cheap..."

By your own commentry...it appears the intrinsic valuation for these business is somewhere between cash value and the total netpresent value of the three businesses...since the nominal SP is rapidly approaching the cash value...my point that it is potentially approaching good value...

Meaning the businesses are valued at ONLY 32 cents per share...When Mt Catlin has 18mt@ %1.08 Li2O ...James Bay has 22mt@ %1.28 Li2O [DFS incomplete so theoretical calculus]...Jiangsu Lithium Carbonate Plant processing
17,000 tonnes/a of 99.5% LiC with 1500 tonnes/a of SoS as by product [again as I understand the DFS inconclusive in terms of NPV and IRR metrics}...Battery Factory Cumulative capital costs in what appears to be $135m, NPV at 10%discount at $459m...Still has to have IMO an "net intrinsic valuation" plus cash, worth greater than the nominal SP...

Notwithstanding, the issues of potential inefficiencies in the vertical integration and further dilution of the share register...Alternately, as I have previously stated accuse the Chinese of poor communication and tricky trading practices, but don't accuse them of stupidity or poor long term planning...this will be the biggist economy 5 years out...{800 million upwardly mobile Indians and Chinese} they are planning for exponential growth...

In conlusion, when referring to other contributors...be careful not to accuse them of "woffleoreum"...it might be a case of the big pot calling the little pot black...

    Cheers
