Its a fact that we eat meat. Its why we evolved to be what we are. We are also evolved enough to carry out the raising and slaughter of our food in a respectful way.
One comment I found interesting was from Indonesia's Vice-Minister of Agriculture, Bayu Krisnamurthi
"Australia should understand that the level development of Indonesians is different from the level of development of Australians."
Imagine the uproar if an Australain had have said this about Indonesians. Guess different standards for different people doesnt just apply to the slaughter of meat
