Agreed,the rain can only be used as an excuse for so long. I suppose announcements coming up to maiden oz need to be extremely positive to charm SP, especially in this market. Maybe they're "keeping there powder dry" so to speak. I for one would appreciate an update but I can hang on IF I see payoff down the track. A solid time-frame would (I think) be positive for the SP and probably provide some downside protection.
My main concern is that the USD POG has a douldrum period during Northern Summer which is coming up to the first pour. If the POG hits it's all-time high again and then drops back, the mainstream is going to be calling this double-top a bursting of the gold "bubble" and gold stocks will be left out of favour for a while - excellent buying opp I know (I'm sure Spott etc will be loading up) but where does that leave the lowly smallfry like me? I've nearly held for 12 months so my dreams of a 50% tax free gain would be dashed! Come on RED SHOW ME THE MONEEEEEEY
