Can't see why ACS would not wait until July for the contract of sale date to defer a potential (and substancial) tax liabily on the sale of their main mine.
It's already the 6th June so I think it would be unwise on their part if they didn't set the date as Monday 4th July. (Friday is the 1st) Only reason they would sign the deal earlier would be because the offer was to good to refuse and they were keen to too close the deal quicker. However, all deals are negotiable so a tax deferral of 12 month would make ACS more competitive with their negoiations.
Having said that, if an announcement was made earlier than the 4th July on the actual offer price from the buyer this of course would immediately boost the share price even though a contact could be executed at a later date.
Going to save myself some anxiety - 4th July for me!
