Thanks, bumskins, for clarifying the prospectus statement. However, my view on >50% complete healing rate was not based on that, and certainly not pure speculation as you suggest. My view is based on:
The first trial achieved 33% complete healing within 6 weeks;
The healing rate would be likely to improve further with more time (note other treatments are usually continued for much longer periods);
All of these patients had previously proven to be difficult to heal (average previous treatment 11 months unsuccessfully);
A higher healing rate would be expected using a normal population of ulcer sufferers (not just those that have proven difficult).
