one thing i've learned about life since the internet is that many people are not really interested in acknowledging evidence.

the seduction of a good conspiracy is far too attractive to allow the simplicity of truth .

it really seems to be an evolutionary stage, like puberty.

first, people believe everything they hear, just like a infant. then they begin to hear too much, and react by questioning everything, like a tweenager.

after a spell of questioning everything, they begin to believe nothing of what they hear, and trust only those who also trust nobody, like an adolescent.

with perserverance, those who chose not to give up in exasperation on the wonderful ambiguity of reality eventually learn how to discern between what is plausible and what is not. that is when they start to realize that life is indeed filled with conspiracies, but most are far too subtle or boring to draw any attention, that they can be considered an adult.

most adults will appreciate that it takes far more energy to sustain a reality as convoluted as the 911 conspiracy than it does the official version of events.

in the end, occams razor applies.
