Unfortunately, thats all I have been hearing for the past year 'just be patient' - and I would be, if something happened, anything. Nothing ever seems to actually happen, just everyone getting excited and saying be patient.
I have traded many oil and gas stocks, and yes - while there are occasional delays, most time they are relatively on track - why? because the companies dont want the rigs to stay around any longer then they need to ($), and the rigs dont want to waste time - when they could be getting more $ off other companies (sometimes more $) as the price is often negotiable.
I know... I know... it's out of FAR's control, it's just getting slightly rediculous that we are always kept in the dark, first regarding senegal lease extentions (8months overdue), then there is the "companies" doing duedilgence - for how many years now? - and now, the rig... is it onsite? is it on its way? is it about to spud? - I am starting to think I would have better luck taking my money and going to the casino.
anyway, i'll play the waiting game - what else is new.
