When I was at business school many years ago i was furnished with several pearls of wisdom:
1 stay away from the Nurse's college
2 small fish are the sweetest
3 the best business is repeat business
Well as that fat bloke reckons.. 2 out of 3 aint bad. (Fab, I think it was Meatloaf).
wrt INT they certainly subcribe to point 2 as all of the jobs they talk about are tiddlers. What about airports, shopping centres and the serious beleivers in embedded networks? The gross profit for each of the most recently heralded sites would be 30k-80k p.a. The retail power consumption of these sites would be about $200k p.a. You have a punt at the margins - then take off admin and overhead which we all know is 1/2 mill each for the "CEO" and "COO".
From what I am told, INT have never heard of point 3. INT publish their one-off contracts but why no repeat business with any of them? A strategic alliance implies multiple eels in the bag. Question for AGM... how many sites in last 12 months are referenceable?
