48.5c might not be so hard to achieve- each new price gets smashed. I do remember buying my first lot of SIPS at 44.5c (I think) and second lot @ 37c. 44.5c was post-crash price, and looked kind of cheap then. It really is a different company now. My "39c is the bottom and we're not even there yet" thread was prophetic! :P
Re dividend, that's definitely capital gain, and most of us could get at least some benefit from the franking credits, too. Berst of luck, abuzade. :)
