I take your comments on board, and in fact do have a certain sympathy for the small shareholder. Those comments were specifically directed at two posters who have given me quite some grief. I also note that both appear not to be SH's.

And what I posted, I admit, was a brutal assessment of the situation as I see it. But I do not resile from that post. It seems to me that investing in the share market as a way of making money is, if habitual and on going, marked by unforgiving realties in the journey. I don't speculate on the SM, but if I did, in this case I would take it as a lesson learned.

I know I repeat variations on a theme but SH anger should be directed, in my opinion, at the company and the NT Government. If the process of lodging objections had not been bungled in the first place it is my opinion that the original tenements would not have been granted. And, again in my opinion, if GOT had been transparent with the information at their diposal as events unfolded SH's would have been better placed in making their individual decisions. I also argue that the ALC and the TO's have been transparent on every step and every nuance of that journey.

Despite the often ridulous banter I indulge in with Callback, for example, please note that I am taking pains to post information as to the reality of the situation, with one motivation being to provide a summation of facts that might enable SH's to make better informed decisions; even though my overiding agenda is to destroy any possibility of GOT's Groote Project succeeding. This is not a game for me. I post with serious intent.,,and also cop abuse and ridicule, from a minority of posters, for my efforts.

Perhaps now SH's who stand to lose, or maybe ultimately gain (who really knows) substantial sums, may now have some empathy with the TO's who, I would argue, stand to lose much more.

The ultimate decisions for SH's placing their bets, so to speak, rests with them, and in this case there was information in the public domain, from the out set, indicating the risks and the hugely speculative nature of this stock. That they either chose to ignore it or assess it and proceed with their faith in the stock is their responsibility.
