On this day I made a small fortune, but it could have been a lot more...if I had not listened to the 'so called experts'

On August 6th 2009, Gulf Keystone made their historic discovery. I was in these at the time at an average of 11p -14p...yet
...yet? The previous drilling update was back in June 24th, and for what reason I do not understand pi's at first sent the shares up, and then back down they came...as it turned out, pi's didn't seem to be impressed, why?
Could it have been a phenomenon of market jitters or basic lack of faith in what was Todd Kozel's first attempt here in Shaikan? Whatever the reason, many pi's posts scared the daylights out of me, and caused me to SELL. I considered my own instincts, and bought back at a lower average only five days before the discovery...I just knew I WAS RIGHT. i MADE A LOT OF MONEY ON GKP, but if I had held on till 110p, instead of selling and buying back at least a dozen times over the next 10 days...I could have paid off my mortgage with this one investment...but I listened to all the derampers, and then just when I had bought them back again at 72p, Tom Bulford, whom I FOLLOWED at the time, put a SELL rec out, and they tanked again, before shooting way over 114p, and then my next 3 trades in GKP resulted in small losses....When will we ever learn?
....No one really expected this, only 24 hours before it was released, the sp had just dropped a bit more, to about 13.5p. August 6th 2009

From previous article: oilfields are refilling.
{It is suspected that the process of upward migration of petroleum is driven by natural gas that is being continually produced both by deeply buried bacteria and from oil being broken down in the deeper, hotter layers of sediment. The pressures and heat at great depth are thought to be increasing because the ground is sinking -- subsiding -- as a result of new sediments piling up on top. The site is part of the huge delta formed over thousands of years by the southward flow of the massive Mississippi River. Like other major deltas, the Mississippi's outflow structure is continually being built from sands, muds and silts washed off the continent.}
{Analysis of the oil being driven into the reservoirs suggests they were created during the so-called Jurassic and Early Cretaceous periods (100 million to 150 million years ago), even before the existing basin itself was formed. This means the source rock is buried and remains invisible to seismic imaging beneath layers of salt.}
