Financial Review: Ezenet reborn as mining explorer in Chile
I only just came across this recent Financial Review Article written after the first exploration acquisition ann (Chuminga: Cu, Zn, Au), but before the 2nd acquisition ann (Vega: Au).
The article reinforces a couple of key points for me (apologies for any repetition):
- Dr Wolf Martinick (Ex Ch)owns over 20% of the company.
- The top 20 shareholders can pass any resolution (scrip tightly held).
- "Chuminga is particularly appealing because it's had limited exploration, but the results have been convincing"
- A member of the current owners family is set to join the board (...to me, this means that they see this venture as a mechanism to develop their resources while retaining some ownership via shares in EXE ...so they are well on board the EZE train)
- Consultant geologist Dr Brad Farrell is also set to join the board.
- "all indications are that we'll be drilling into an ore body with good results."
- BFS with-in 3 years.
- Other multinational's had explored but pulled out as it was too small for them.
...more interesting the more I find out.
Cheers,
John S.
NB: The above is all pre VEGA acquisition ann.!
