As Cvac is getting the bodies immune system to recognise the cancer cells so they can see them as an invader surely this would have to work in all stages and in my opinion(RN by TRade)wouldnt it be better all round to try and treat patients before during and after first line treatments of chemo as surely the body would be able to cope with it all better than when the bodies defense system is totally wracked by the side effects of chemo nursing post chemo patients who get infections etc is gut wrenching watching my father die of cancer was gutwrenching just hope some day someone comes up with something better for the patient than chemo hence I LOVE CVac. Lets hope they trial it in all stages especially if as they have stated it hasnt shown toxicity yet?? This I feel is the most awesome part of Cvac so far as virtually all drugs etc have side effects so much so that sometimes you give patients one drug then give them another to counter the side effects of that drug and so on so to me Immunotherapy makes sense lets hope they can speed up trials and get more of these different style therapies out there.I am a believer All IMO
