Tasman - in all honesty back then there was probably alot of hype.

Back then Puntland was going to be drilled really soon (still waiting but about to happen). Also since then there has been alot of instability in the Somali/Puntland Region. I also think after not successfully drilling, alot of the hype wore off and people continued to sell dropping the price.

From memory it may have only been a one-trick pony at that stage too.

Now there is alot more potential (more tricks), but also a greater amount of shares.

You'll probably find alot of other factors involved contributed to the Share Price at one stage going lower than 5c - the aforementioned GFC included. Dillution is another main factor to consider.

That being said, things are now looking up, and with more tricks coming to fruition, and better chances of success, that $1.20 could well be reached again. Time will tell.
