Whilst in theory with their lease locations and ability in the early days. Maybe x-men then had the upper hand if CDU were ever forced to negotiate with them.

However in a practical sense this is no longer the case.

CDU have a gazetted road running though their leases (soon to be sealed). We have rail access, water, port facility, and power options. Twenty year offtake, finance agreements and plenty of copper that will eventually get dug up out of the ground.

Days of 'literally' being hemmed in by the x-men are long gone, thanks to excellent foresight and planning by the Cudeco management team.
