The problem with Qbe at the moment is that the annual dividend of $1.30 per share is actually more than its earnings last year and looks like will be close to earnings this year after the profit downgrade announcement.
From a shareholder's equity point of view, the book value of the company is going backwards.
Roger Montgomery put a intrinsic value of $14.75.
Sadly, I feel that we may even hit sub $16 with any further catastrophies or further appreciation of the AUD.
