From todays West Australian:
ALCOA COMES TO TOWN
The board of Aluminium Giant ALCOA ,lead by chairman and chief executive KLAUS KLEINFELD, has spent the past 2 days in the South West {WA} viewing operations including the Huntly mine and Pinjarra and Wagerup refineries.
It marks the first time in 13 years that ALCOA`s full board,which includes former Merril Lynch boss STAN O`NEAL, ex Alcatel Lucent head PATRICIA RUSSO and Indian Billionaire RATAN TATA,has visited WA.
Other than talking up Aluminium`s prospects in a press release, KLEINFELD remained off-limits to the media and there was no word on Alcoa`s interest in reigniting a $2.2 billion expansion plan for the Wagerup refinery.
I wonder when the board will visit MHM METALS ??!!! VERY soon I bet.
