Where this Company is at now could be a real game changer imo.
They have used a Texan Consulting Group (who are world experts on shale gas) to advise them., and it's looking very similar to the Eagle Ford formations imo.
Then they're going to pour over the data from the logs & the corings to examine the viability of the gas & then go in for a frac & test.
Fingers x'd that this could see Norwest +/- 50 wells which could equate to ~ 12 per year (or ~1 per month) ... so hopefully things are going to heat right up here.
Then there is North Erregulla with EGO who have kicked a bit of a goal themselves this year & are looking for another win.
... but back to the shale gas, it could seriously be huge imo! (:
