So briter, should we then reinstate capital punisment for commiting adultery? It would wipe out half the population. A Christian theocratic government would not put it's people in such bondage.

It is true that what a man sows that shall he reap. Under a legalistic regime like Islam, judgement is executed speedily. But approaching a more balanced position on the legalism - liberalism continuum, sins can be forgiven and forgotten.

I'm not saying let the murderers go free, just lock them up and make them listen to the bible and watch Christian TV et cetera. Also get them working in prison labour camps to help the economy.

Btw, imho, swearing on the bible is not necessary.
