G'day all.

I think the last info was that commencement of drilling was stated as starting "as early as May/June". The words, "as early as", always worried me, like they are surprised that May or June are months when drilling could start!

Haselhurst says he "heard" that drilling was 6-8 weeks away. From yesterday's date? That makes it from early August. If he "heard" this from someone who knows, does GGP need to let "us" know anything??

My guess is they're still sorting a rig, advice and other issues. I suppose they could update us on all the delays, or wait 'til they're resolved and not trouble the market with that info. Dunno for sure. I don't have Haselhurst's "hearing". lol.

Buying the Permian lease from AKW at $4-4.5 million was a fantastic achievement, but I agree with most of the sentiment here, in that GGP need to get their ship together.

Still bullish and think the Permian leases will transform GGP, but any delay from GGP is not doing the SP any favours.
