Hope you're right!
The problem is Lynas is not mining coal, iron ore or (dare I say it) uranium. Its product is unavailable outside China, is in heavy demand and there will be no realistic competitor for some time. One year's income at 3 billion dollars equals the current value of the company. All the hard work has been done. Why wouldn't a company like BHP seriously consider a takeover? They could write out the cheque without even speaking to their bankers.
Unfortunately, I may be right.
