"The stocks you mention had their day years ago and I would say that some of the posters here rode them to significant profits and thought that ESG would be the next big thing

I still have hope which is why I sill hold

I reckon +40% would be OK - not too greedy"

So you have drawn your own line in the sand and because these transactions (companies i mentioned previously) are on one side of the line you have drawn you keep banging on about your method of valuing a potential TO offer for ESG.
Thats your opinion and you`re welcome to it.
I`d much rather sit back and see how it all pans out and hope that if or when ESG is taken over that the metrics will come in somewhere around the median of the companies i mentioned, although i`m happy to be pleasantly surprised.Like in the case of PES where there was a multi party auction :)DC has hinted there is interest from multiple parties...lets see what happens.
I don`t have a crystal ball and i don`t expect too much out of anything in life as it more often than not leads to disappointment.
So even if ESG gets taken out at + 20%,+45% or +200% of what it is valued at the time the first offer comes you will be disappointed as you will be proven to be wrong.

Yes i was a in a few of those companies and i am hoping that something similar will happen with ESG.
But as for predicting the future,i`ll gladly stay out of that.

db,you sound like an intelligent guy but i don`t think your strategy of putting all your investment eggs in the one basket is very wise.My opinion only.
I`m actually astounded you haven`t invested in any other speculative gas companies with your wealth of knowledge of the industry.
