I have taken a closer look at OXR and must say it has a lot going for it. With the first copper production in full swing and continuing good exploration results. The last high copper grades was like a blessing from the sky. Also prominent hill looks very promising and a very long live span.
So I asked myself why does this one not sky rocket, OXR has soo much going for it. If I look at the selling dept , it looks like more people feel like parting with the shares then the ones who want to buy them.
So how is this possible, looking at the MarketCap and the shares issued it becomes much clearer to me. Too much paper on the table we are looking at more than 1.200 million shares on issue.
YEAR 2000 308 million
2001 432 million
2002 794 million
2003 975 million
2004 1.189 million
2005 scary
When is this company going to stop issueing more shares???? I understand its great to have a company growing as fast as OXR but the shareholder does not benefit, on the contrary he will see his value wash away.
My question is do you know if management has now stopped issueing script or is this going to be an intergral part of the growth strategy of OXR.
As I said before I am impressed with the projects they have but not at all with the amount of shares they use to finance these projects.
comments appreciated
