re: Ann: TFS Raises US$150 Million in Senior ... Its not a good time to raise capital but it is a good time to pick up cheap assets. We cant have it both ways. TFC needs land....an elders SW is prob going to be dirt cheap. Dont get me wrong it does seem expensive, but will have to wait to see what it is used for and what unfolds. If the money markets freeze up again the cap raising will be looking like a safe move. The proportion of tfc earnings in US dollars is increasing so a strengthening US dollar, although negative in regards to holding US debt it will be very positive due to US earnings. A weak AUS dollar also good for potential international investors.
