i dont suppose that you were one of the many alp supporters who were absolutely aghast when the liberal party held sway in both houses of parliament a few years ago were you?
you were all running around like chicken little at the time but lo and behold the sky didnt fall.
i also remember at the time that there were many of you who thought that democracy was dead and wouldnt be revived until the labor party won government (not that the alp knows what democracy is).
well they have sort of formed government but come july 1 democracy again will be tested owing to the fact that control of both houses will once more, be held by one faction.
and for the record i did object to howard having control of both houses - its a negative situation but this time its worse because of the radical greens
