Things are getting desperate when the Elephant metaphors fly

Got the Shortfall Elephant in the Room and the Woolly Mammoth Gas Rich Tusker on the way north to strike fear into the hearts of the cane toads

With the WPL Pluto budget cracking up with hyper-inflation the Gladstone hopefuls are definitely starting to think again. How can they do it on budget ? You need a management reserve of billions. Pluto blowour $2.9Bn.
Cost blowouts just on WA resouce projects $21.535Bn (AFR 18-19/6/11)

One bit of consolidation at Gladstone to cut costs should mean a lot of gas will be freed up as some planned production capacity is wound back

What is Shell doing ? - might be cheaper for Shell to add a FLNG unit to its production line to sit off the coast rather than try and build onshore

What about ORG and its APLNG ?

We have the BOF who suspended 3A approvals and is in the process of mollifying his voters - Where does that leave ESG with all its stuff in his in-tray

In the Sydney papers the suburbanites around St Peters are concerned about the Dart wanting to drill a few holes. City slickers - they like using the stuff but want it out of sight

They belong to one or all of the below:

Bananas = Build Absolutely Nothing Anytime Near Anybody
Nimby = Not In My Back Yard
Cave = Citizens Against Virtually Everything

They should go out to the Pilliga and talk to the Mouse

I remember when an ESG share used to be a $1 (100cents) just like when the Ringers used to strip Wool from the dead sheep because Wool was just so valuable

It is a distant memory now as the 6 prefix seems to have become the first character of the multi-cent 2 digit summary that is the ESG sp . Is it bottoming now or has talk of low permeability supported by NO news from that very deep Tinsfield hole raising some more eyebrows amongst the large purchasers who bought in at 84cps on the Good and the Great promises of riches unimagined.

Will we hear about the need for shield wells ? To help the Tinstfield along

We are all in this together and I share your pain.

"If BOW gets whacked then ESG might follow" is a new theme - I just love the conditionals

and the Gas Rush 2 - a title for the novel we should publish collaboratively along the lines of :-

"Eastern Star Gas during Gas Rush 2 " - the Epic saga of the HC Clinic barking up the Good and the Great in support of a True-Blue Australian success story

No scenario is too remote , in order to keep up the morale of the Crew

We are all in the same boat and rowing together as there is only ever Blue Sky above

    Cheers
