Other than being highly annoying that they constantly refer to "exellent quality reservoir" I don't have a problem with it.

They have pretty much confirmed what I thought - there is a gas/oil column but in limestone which is too tight to flow at a commercial rate.

They hit water before hitting any good porosity/permeability.

So it looks like there was oil and gas generated and it has migrated through the Gindara structure - meaning that other high points further from the Malampaya graben probably recieved charge... same risk with Gindara will apply to those, that is finding good quality reservoir (within the oil/gas column).

The questions to ask now are regarding the "excellent quality 3D" which apparently allowed them to see internal variations in resevoir quality etc. Also, what happened to the greater than 300m vertical closure? looks like around half that was the actual case.

I hope when Jocot is runnng down the list of employees this morning to see who they can make do without that he gives due consideration to the higest paid name on that list.
