The answer is- not quite...but very close. That song line's been utilised for the past two weeks after the death of na Lalara woman, one of my wife's sisters in fact...and the song men sing their guts out, and the dancers raise a dust storm until they get the spirit of the deceased into the clear gulf wwaters...then after that effort it's still full on but there's certainly a sense relief.
I said I'd post a couple paintings here illustrating this point...I've got permission...I just ask that people respect their copyright.
