I'm wrong? Well BHP was not in a million years going to bid for woodside when the price was in the mid 40's was my point.IF CA was suggesting to BHP to bid well they sure as hell did nt hear him. It was just a ramp on the stock started by a FX rumour out of UK. WPL was played out for days on the evening news as well as your money your call.
The point I was making yesterday ......
BhP are more likely to have a tilt at WPL when the price is under $40.

BTW I have never owned WPL shares so I don't have a financial interest in the outcome!
