the burqa and judge jeffreys

I think most fair minded Australians are appalled Ms Matthews won her appeal and disagree with the ruling made by Judge Jeffreys, but, what else could he do, as difficult as his decision is to swallow, I think he made the correct call.

So has Judge Jeffreys judgement done the Australian public a favour with his ruling, I think maybe he has, this will force our legislators to bring in tougher laws to close this loophole hopefully.

Personally I have nothing against the burqa, but in cases where facial recognition is required the law has to change, the Matthews case clearly demonstrates why a law needs to be introduced and enforced, both State and Federal

Ms Matthews might have beaten her jail sentence, but in hindsight she just might have done us all a favour, I hope so.
