UT,as I said yesterday,if it works for you and your comfortable with it(which obviously you are),goodluck to year. Just wanted to clarify a point here.We've agreed that the rent doesnt cover the mortgage,and you said you'll have to tip in about $50 a week to cover it.Then you have council rates,water rates, insurance,maintenace etc.So in my view your tipping in even more a week.Let's say all up,an extra $50 for all the extras,which makes $100 a week.Over a 20 year period that's an extra $100,000,and somehow I dont think you'll make this up in rent.I understand your point,and what your trying to achieve,but I dont like the numbers,but you do,and I guess that is all that matters in the end. See when those semi's were a lot cheaper,the rent covered everything,but not now. I agree with your last comment about real estate.I love all the people that are still spruiking proerties and say look what I've done over the years.This may be true,and goodluck to them,but try starting today and getting the same result.It aint going to happen.
