Not sure I want to watch it. Is it a guilt trip? Australia is ranked 2nd highest tolerant nation globally after Canada by OECD so obviously we are not a bunch of feral racists so why are we continually treated as such?

There is way too immigration to this country (highest growth? or close) and it creates instability in lower socio economic areas while providing cheaper labour for the wealthy end of town. The wealthy love migration but do not see their jobs being lost to the professional migrant, never mind the unskilled. They do not experience social isolation caused by rapid cultural change in the neighbourhood. In short we have our own internal displaced refugees.

Because money rules and migrants means the rich get richer Government use asylum seekers as the "release valve" while the ever increasing legal migration line checks in unhindered. Divide and conquor strategy. This is racist government policy, nowhere else do they use a group of people for political gain to the same degree. So yes we have a right to border controls, we have a right to question the integrity of the refugee process, we have a right to question population but other nations and even this one before Howard, did/do all this as normal course of business. The difference here is that it is made political by government and media.

    Proportionality is the problem.

    Not the Australian people.
