JordonRivers - not necessarily - borrowed stock is often used for shorting - the shorting seems to be settled - (only 2% of trades on the 21st) - but thats what creates the swings (selling then buying back). You have to laugh (if your not a holder) when you see insto's lending their stock for shorting then selling after its got hammered - if thats whats happened.
