me too baxter...however my understanding is telstra's not giving anything away and retain ownership of the physical copper which has to be worth something...deccomissioning a physical asset isn't selling it
also they are done with the expense associated with USO...all those public phones, perpetually vandalised, will soon be labor's responsibility
this deal is so big it will take some time for the picture to become clear...there's tax related selling going on now...telstra's in good position imo...labor needs this deal real bad
