Please understand that I was not implying that you were intentionally demeaning anyone. Many of one's strongly hel opinions inadvertantly demean others. I certainly didn't expect any apology, and in my opinion you had no need at all to apologise.
But we don't all live in the Mainstream I can assure you. I have a Mainstream World View for the most part but I am living a constant reminder that I'm imbedded in a Culture whose World View and behavioural tenets are, a lot of the time/most of the time, diametrically opposed to my own.
Your pro-mining post and the adoption of an anarchist robber as a hero, at first thought, made no sense...but I can grasp the connection, particularly if his actions and intentions were as you described. Is it too late to change my Nome de plume to Dougie Walters, one of my heroes, do you think?
