    JMCGOO,
I think anyone who ends up on HC is pretty well up to their neck in a stock or stocks.
Those of us in the REE sector (Im in LYC and previous ARU holder)are all keeping an eye out on each other, and today, and reason for posting,I was more watching ARU and this Forum then LYC.
LYC is in a not to disimilar situation with predictions anticipating that after the IAEA report some tweaking will be required before the LAMP in Malaysia can get under way..ie some form of delay.

I guess in one way..ARU have showen their hand..so its on the table.
When you look at ALK..one can only guess as to what hurdles they have to jump through yet.
MCP is still producing from Tailings, and those who follow Moly know their CEO Smith is full of it.They are still years off getting the mine refurbished and a processing plant firing.
AVL and REE are running on Love and Freshair in the market..and only own the shovel.
Greenland..GGG..Good luck..yes large resource..Big Greenie contingency to deal with, and not enough Huskies to tow the ore..during the 3 days of summer.
All these mines have yet to face all their hurdles..and there will be plenty.
Its just dawning on people how complex this Industry is.

    Is it a race...yes it is..incredibly so.

MCP is already experiencing problems via Sumitomo getting Contracts in Japan. The Japanese are haggling over price..and now there is a stalemate.

Nailing down a contract has become a major issue..not that it was any less before.
    Its become a Catch 22.
To get Funding you need to tie down contracts.
The clients are reluctant to sign up for goods they may not get for 3-4 yrs...and guessing the price.
If LYC get going in 2012..its just them and China..MCP will still be tilling tailings.not enough to cover demand..so that opening is still there.
ALK is next cab off the rank now..but they like Zirconium better,so its a different market.

9-12 months delay still keeps ARU in the race. One more delay on top off..a new scenario.

I guess ive been trying to guage what impact a 9-12 month delays causes to a company at ARU,s stage...ok 17% drop.
With the infrastructure almost complete what would be the effect of a 9-12 mths delay with LYC..dont know?

There plenty of REE companies that you can DYOR on.
Just in terms of a paper loss..if you transfer over to another stock..all you have lost is brokerage.
You just need to make sure its not the frying pan into the fire.

The market is not educated yet about the REE Industry..we talk about 3-4 yrs as a different language to punters raised on much shorter time lines.

There isnt a REE company that isnt aware what happened to ARU today...no one is gloating, its been quite sobering,"You could be next" and has ramifications to the industry.

If your inner sense tells you to jump...dont say "WHAT"?
