I think it takes confidence to open communication with the opposition. The comment says nothing about the IAEA's evaluation of radioactivity IMO. Perhaps the comment gives a nod of respect to the protestors (that I don't see as necessary). But NC is now realizing these will be some of his neighbors. I see the comment as an olive branch that can benefit Lynas and the Malaysian government along the way. And when all Stop Lynas has is emotion, a mea culpa can diffuse a lot of emotion IMO. Works on my wife, and she's the toughest person I know.:-)
