Solar panels have gone beserk this year!
And now gone into manic since the goverment announced a rebate pull back in FY12. The article below says they can't keep up with demand.
AIR will benefit more than anyone from this. AIR merely onsells these things to builders and other suppliers, hence can quickly pass them on at the lowest cost in the industry. Other solar companies who do the full monty, buy/wholesale/install will be held up somewhere in that value chain, whilst AIR sells them to every builder going.
I was worried about their huge inventory at the HY, ha now this is a great thing, I think all of this and some would have moved!
In the long term, these do it all business's will struggle with the down turn from the lower solar rebate. Installs will be down.
You could say the same for AIR, but they have no fixed costs to worry about or anything to rely on. If sales slow, they don't get hit hardly as much as they import on a demand basis, at the lowest cost. The builders will still do alright out of this, the solar only guys won't. AIR is still held by a building company and services many others.
Downside should be offset by the range of other Bathroom and Kitchen equip AIR has built up.
This dividend could double. The SP will hug that Dividend, even though this has growth prospects! 72%, 35%, 35% ROE last 3 years. EV/EBITDA around 3.
